- Gavin Clarke Added May 05, 2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Went to our 2nd "A Day On The Green" on the 4th of March. They appear to be getting even greedier with the price of their very average wine for the event. Gates open at 2pm, security confiscates ANY drinks, (except water because they are made to offer free water inside, so if you bring your own it actually saves them money) from your esky (all soft drinks of any type, I even saw one guard confiscate two small plastic bottles of pre mixed cordial off an elderly couple). Bottles of the winery's own products are then on sale for about $30 until 4.30pm, and from then on until the end of the show, another 5 hours approximately, you can only purchase tiny plastic cups of the pre poured wine at highly inflated prices. You can buy as many cups at a time as you like mind you, so obviously it is not due to "responsible service of alcohol" restrictions.
